Aleksandra Domanovic.

I've been attracted to Aleksandra Domanovic's work since watching DEGA. She filmed about 6 people singing one tone. Then she pixelated their faces so they weren't too distinguishable, but still identifiable. Domanovic combined the two techniques and created an awesome beat + video. Be sure to check it out : http://aleksandradomanovic.com/D,%20E,%20G,%20A.html

Don't forget to look at her highly witty and hilarious music video for Jamie Lidell - (good tunes too)

The End is Nearin`, the Floor is Shakin`.

Yet another semester to close, another to open. Sadly, wintersession has ended. I attempt to live life with no regrets, however I have been regretting staying a fifth year. Until now.

This wintersession has enabled me to continue and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to printmake. Each step of education brings me more and more respect for other fields of art [than before]. It is one thing to admire art, especially when it is nicely displayed in an expensive frame against a stark white wall. But it is so much more overwhelming to have to create the art yourself. You admire it so much more, even the simplest of drawings.

[Granted, all this has been obvious to you, I am sure].

Light Art.

I can't stop enjoying the innovation behind light "graffiti".

the san francisco treat.

Upon my arrival at SFO, I was welcomed by the gloomy musk of the bay area. It was cold, gray, cloudy. I guess you could say it was the complete opposite of the image that I had built up in my head, but then again, that was probably a little too utopia-esque.

Regardless, I strove forward despite the weather and had such a memorable Thanksgiving, thanks to Christina. Though this holiday was spent without family it was definitely one of the more defining Thanksgivings I've ever had, especially considering I sadly missed out on this particular holiday last year since I was in Denmark.

We walked the Golden Gate bridge, saw some seals chilling along the water harbor, visited the SFMoMA and participated in "The Gift" project exhibition, saw M83, dined out, and simply enjoyed living life.
